Margin = an amount above what is necessary ( مبلغ اكثر من الضرورى / يزيد عن اللازم )
Margin money ( مال فائض )
in business: the amount of profit مبلغ / مقدار الربح
high profit money هامش ربح مرتفع

Deposit ( n ) عربون
Pay a deposit يدفع عربون
a part payment of money, which is made so that the seller will not sell the goods
to any one else.

You must pay a deposit to the hotel if you want them to keep a room free for you .

The margin money is like a security deposit that acts as a performance bond for the contracting parties. The exchange members collect margins from their clients and deposit it with the clearing corporation / exchange clearing house. The prompt collection of margin by the exchange helps in avoiding the risk of default by its members or their clients in fulfilling their obligations that arise or may arise out of trades done on the exchange.

Margin money is like a security deposit or insurance against a possible future loss of value. It is required to pay upfront initial margin on daily basis. Margin money is required to be paid to the Exchange through the broker by the person who makes contract for Future Trading (either in Stock Future or in Index Future). Generally, such margin money ranges from 12% to 25%of the contract value. Such margin money is not the same for all time and the Stock Exchange from time to time increases or decreases the margin money depending on the need to do so, after considering the market volatility and some other factors. The aim of margin money is to minimize the risk of default by either counter party. The payment of margin ensures that the risk is limited to the previous day’s price movement on each outstanding position.
